Today was a very nice day. We had some climbs, but the weather (heat and wind) were moderate, traffic was light, road surface was not bad and the scenery was fantastic. I think we have reached the edge of Hill Country.
The route we took was a favorite of motorcyclists. The ridges had fantastic views and the vegetation is increasing. I actually saw rivers with water today.
We are staying in a Texas State Campground tonight, which is quite nice. No WiFi or cell service though. Burgers and beans for supper tonight.
